**School closed March 16 – April 28**
HERE is the Continuity of Learning link to access a shared Google Drive with instructional activities and materials Ashbrook teachers developed for students to use during this closure period. These materials are not intended to replace classroom instruction or to cover new content. They are opportunities for students to engage their brains and practice skills and content that have already been taught or to explore new topics or ideas independently. If you have questions about the material in the folders, please email the teacher.
The activities in these folders are designed to last about 2-3 weeks. With Spring Break falling in the middle of this closure (March 23-27), we would not expect and do not recommend that our students complete all of the activities immediately. We also encourage students to engage in learning for all of their classes or subjects, not just their favorite one.
It’s also important to give students the chance to relax and recharge during Spring Break. The COVID-19 event has created much uncertainty around the future, and our children feel the anxiety as much if not more than we do as adults. Please check in with your children on how they are feeling and allow them opportunities to play and have fun as well.
