Founded in 1997, Ashbrook has developed a reputation for academic excellence. Our goal is to teach students to think for themselves and to provide them with challenging and inspiring learning experiences.

We are committed to helping students become open-minded and curious yet able to evaluate ideas critically. Together we work diligently to develop an environment where all students, staff, and parents are valued for their unique talents and the contributions they make to our diverse learning community. Ashbrook Independent School’s Preschool, Elementary and Middle School level programs offer a multiplicity of creative opportunities in the heart of the Willamette Valley.

• We continue to maintain small class sizes for one-on-one teacher contact and we focus on the whole child, allowing for frequent field trips and deeper exploration of topics outside the classroom.

• Foreign languages are taught beginning in kindergarten.

• Effective communication, including writing, speaking, listening and a range of presentation skills are exemplified in our curriculum.

• Drama classes are incorporated into the K-8 curriculum and provide a unifying theme for the arts.
