Lynette Gottlieb is our Middle School English teacher. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Music from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada and her Master’s of Art from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She then earned her Ph.D. from the University of Buffalo in Buffalo, New York and her Master’s in Teaching from Western Oregon University. She loves school!
Ms. Gottlieb taught music at several colleges in New York, Ohio, and Oregon before joining the Ashbrook team.
“I get to connect students with books I know they’ll love and that might even change their lives. I help students discover their inner writers too. I have fun every single day with our Ashbrook students and I always joke that English is the “best” subject (but I’m only half joking). I am passionate about language, writing, reading, literature, and communication. Everyone learns this quickly about me: I’m Canadian!”
This is Ms. Gottlieb’s 9th year with Ashbrook Independent School.
