“What I love most about my job is working with an enthusiastic and highly-motivated group of students at a variety of levels, Kindergarten to 8th grade, which keeps me on my toes. I also enjoy using TPRS, a storytelling method that brings high energy and creativity into the classroom. “
In her free time, Mrs. Burand is kept busy by her two young daughters, Lucie and Charlotte. She also enjoys gardening, running, and adventuring outdoors. She has tried 12 different kinds of mushrooms while mushroom picking in Oregon and she passed the ASA 104 sailing certification and has chartered several times on Lake Superior and Puget Sound.
