Ashbrook Independent School

Middle School Electives

Electives are offered in Middle School, beginning with a planned rotation in the 5th grade to introduce students to various courses. In 6th through 8th grades, students choose electives according to distribution category requirements. Electives vary the pace of the day, expose students to new concepts, allow pursuit of an idea in depth, introduce practical arts, capture the imagination, and fuel passions and interests.

Electives in any year reflect the interests and skills of both students and staff.
